KAMA is part of the Folding Carton Digital Revolution

August 2022 - Pink is beautiful! - and signal colour of the "Folding Carton Digital Revolution", which has been proclaimed at the HP Indigo Experience Center in Atlanta, USA. Definitely a great place for printers and packaging manufacturer to experience new developments and workflows such as the production of digitally printed folding cartons – here at a recent customer event for North America. All the finishing is done on the KAMA ProCut 76 Foil Packaging Edition.

The sheets from the digital printing press, e.g. the HP Indigo 35K or Indigo 100K, are die-cut, creased and embossed on the versatile KAMA solution including tool-free automatic stripping and blanking. All applications in one pass - ready for transfer to the folder gluer.

Optionally, the ProCut 76 Foil can do embellishment with the KAMA AutoRegister ensuring register accuracy for each blank. Like at the event at a classy slip lid box with refined effects with gold and transparent hot foil on black cardboard. Because … black is beautiful too!
